Detailed description of the site
Teletsky Eco-Park "Return to the origins" is a species area in the Turochak district, in the zone of Verkh Biysk and Tuloya, with access from the village of Verkh Biysk, located on a slope covered with pine forest with the inclusion of cedar, when climbing upwards, there are strong views of Biyu, Tuloy valley, taiga slopes, high cliff and the confluence of Tuloy to Biy.
The area is particularly spectacular in the winter. high-bankThe Biya, the cliff and the wide panorama create a sense of enclosed natural space, where silence becomes an independent value. The deep green color of needles, the whiteness of snow, the river and the taiga valley form a strong species picture for a spiritual and health project.

Viewing platform over Bija, Tula and the taiga valley
The main strength of the site is the height, the view and the natural drama. It's the scenario of the movement: uphill, pine forest, gradual opening of the panorama, the upper platform, the river below and the sense of space. For a spiritual and health project, it's stronger than a normal hotel location, because the territory itself sets the path of internal switching.
The relief allows you to create a multi-level model: a chapel on top, a monastery or spiritual core below, aparthotels and glampings in the natural environment, walking routes, observation decks, bath programs, medical recovery and quiet areas for long stays.
The history of the idea of the chapel and the project “Return to the Origins”
When the site was inspected by the hieromonk Father Moses, a broader idea emerged: not to confine one chapel to a viewing site, but to create a monastic core below the chapel, and later this idea took a new direction: to combine the Orthodox tradition of fasting, the Altai natural environment and medical recovery based on RDT, fasting and diet therapy.
At the suggestion of a spiritual partner, the project is called "Return to Origins," which has an exact meaning: a return to the ancient understanding of fasting as a path of purification, discipline, inner work and recovery, and in the modern model, this line can be connected with medical care, natural therapy, prayer, regime, silence and staying in a strong landscape environment.
Orthodox fasting and medical recovery
The idea behind the project is to connect spiritual and medical lines, and in the Orthodox tradition, fasting is not just a restriction on food, but a form of internal discipline, prayer, purification and recovery, and in the medical part, it is about RDT, a dietary treatment that can only be used in a licensed medical model, under medical supervision, with selection of participants, contraindications and a mandatory recovery period.
The medical unit can be run by a licensed Avatar Life Medical Center, and the spiritual part of the project can be formed together with an Orthodox partner: through the participation of clergy, monastic culture, prayer, conversation, work, walks, excursion routes and accompanying guests.
In this model, the person comes not just to a sanatorium or just on a pilgrimage trip, but to an environment where spiritual meaning, natural silence, regimen and medical recovery work together in one system.
RDT as the medical basis of the project
Unloading and diet therapy is linked to Professor Yuri Nikolaev, who worked in psychiatric practice and studied the effects of fasting on patients, and the Soviet-era RDT method was medically applied and regulated in the health care system. For the Return to Origins project, this is important because it is not a fashionable diet or amateur practice, but a medical field that requires professional supervision.
The current scientific agenda of autophagy is further enhanced by the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine awarded to Yoshinori Osumi in 2016 for his discovery of autophagy mechanisms, a topic that does not replace clinical medicine or promise miraculous results, but shows that cellular renewal processes with dietary restriction have a strong scientific basis.
For a commercially and legally literate model, it's important to separate the spiritual tradition of fasting, the medical RDT, and the marketing packaging of the project. The fast makes sense. The nature of Altai makes the environment, the medical center gives the professional control, and together they can form a strong product of spiritual and health tourism.
“Return to the Origins” as a Spiritual and Wellness Brand
The name "Return to Origins" doesn't sound like a sanatorium, glamping or recreational center, but it makes sense to return to faith, fasting, natural silence, simplicity, inner discipline and recovery.
The project can be built around the idea of a deep reset of the person: to get out of the city overload, information noise, anxiety, fatigue and excessive consumption; to go the path of silence, regime, prayer, walks, medical support and return to a clearer state.
This is the commercial strength of the brand: it sells not only accommodation and not only treatment, it sells a recovery path, and for Altai, this format is especially organic: forest, river, snow, height, silence, bath, trails, prayer, medical regime and change of experiences can work as a single program, it is stronger than the usual model of room plus meals, because the guest has a personal history of the stay.
Monastery core and commercial infrastructure
The strong model of the project is to combine the spiritual core, the medical program and the commercial infrastructure. Chapel or monastery part creates a sense center. The medical operator is responsible for the RDT and rehabilitation programs. Developers and investors can build aparthotels, glampings, guest houses, bath complexes, service facilities and infrastructure.
Aparthotels and glampings near the Orthodox center
The monastic core can be a strong reason for coming, and guests come not just to relax, but to undergo a program of purification, restoration, silence, prayer and natural stay, either in aparthotels, glampings, guesthouses or individual species residences.
For some investors, not only is it about profitability, but also about participation in a project that has a social, spiritual and regenerative meaning, not a donation instead of a business, but an entry into a project where the real estate foundation, the medical program, the spiritual idea and the natural location reinforce each other.
Year-round use case
The project can work not as a seasonal base, but as a year-round spiritual and health-improving territory: in summer - forest, routes, Biya, Teletskoye direction, walks, excursions, boating on Teletskoye Lake, quad bikes and nature programs. In autumn - silence, forest color, recovery races and retreat formats. In winter - snow, pine buffalo, bath, skis, snowmobiles, winter routes and quiet stay in warm houses. In spring - renewal of nature, the color of the forest, recovery and a soft season.
Year-roundness is created not only by heating in houses, but by a content program: medical support, fasting, bath, walks, prayer, excursions, lectures, labor, restorative nutrition after RDT, routes, individual and group races.
Pilgrimage and international potential
Orthodox tourism has its own channels of trust. The Sergiev Posad Lavra is one of the most important spiritual centers of the Russian Orthodox Church. Through the church, pilgrimage and cultural environment, the project can gain Russian and international interest, especially in countries and communities where there is an Orthodox tradition, interest in Russian spiritual culture, Altai nature and medical wellness.
For an international guest, the value of the project may not be in exoticism, but in a rare combination: Orthodox spiritual culture, Altai, taiga nature, medical support, silence, recovery mode and an itinerary program, a product that is different from a regular sanatorium, a SPA hotel or a sightseeing tour, and can be perceived as a path of purification and return to oneself through faith, nature and restoration.
Financial and investment model
Different financing instruments are possible for the development of the project: equity participation, shareholder model, investment pools, construction of individual facilities by partners, sale of units, lease-holdInvestors in service blocks, aparthotels, glamping, bath complexes, and medical infrastructure, tools like digital financial assets or investment platforms require separate legal work, but the logic of the project allows for different levels of entry for partners.
Prospects of the network of spiritual and health centers of Altai
If the project is implemented in the Chapel over Bija, it can be developed as a model for other Altai territories, such spiritual and health points can appear in Bija, in the Teletskoye direction, in the Chemal district, near the Karakol lakes, in the Ust-Koksin zone, in the highlands and in other strong natural places.
The network can connect pilgrimage, medical wellness, natural routes, monastery culture, RDT, bath programs, lectures, labor, prayer and excursion movement. A tourist or pilgrim can visit several centers, each with its own natural image, spiritual atmosphere and recovery program.
This gives Altai a new type of tourism: not just to see nature, but to go through a journey of recovery, where people come on a journey where places, views, routes and internal state change, nature works not as a background, but as part of the program: beautiful views, changing experiences, walks, prayer, regime and medical care create a sense of renewal and return to life.
This format may be of interest to guests from Russia and countries with Orthodox communities, interest in the Russian spiritual tradition, the nature of Altai and medical wellness.
The value of the project for the buyer and investor
Teletsky Eco-Park “Return to the Origins” is a site for a rare spiritual and health project in the Turochak district, whose value is created by a species site, pine forest, Bia, Tula, the history of the chapel, the possibility of a monastery core, a medical and recreational program and a format of living near natural silence.
For a private buyer, this land is a land with a strong sense and a rare natural atmosphere, and for an investor, it is the basis of a project that can connect Orthodox tourism, medical wellness, aparthotels, glampings, medically controlled RRT and an international rehabilitation program in Altai.
